How to Join Grownup Gamers:
Step 1: You’ll want to join our Discord server here: https://discord.gg/vNCbywgy Feel free to have a look around, introduce yourself, or just lurk for a bit. Our mods and staff are always happy to welcome you and help you get around, and our players are super friendly and would love to say hello! You may also want to set appropriate “roles” in our #roles channel (specifically “java_server” or “bedrock_geyser”, and “SMP Events” if you’d like to be pinged when we host server-wide events)
Step 2: Submit a whitelist ticket in our #submit_a_ticket channel.
A staff member will process your request as soon as we are available—no need to ping us! Once we can be sure you’ve read our rules, we’ll be happy to add you to our whitelist, and you should be ready to log in within moments.
Step 3: Link your Minecraft and Discord accounts.
Type the command “!discordlink” (without the quotes) into any channel for clear instructions. It will take less than a minute.
Step 4: Log on!
Survival and creative server IPs will be available in the #minecraft_info channel, for both Java and Bedrock clients. At spawn, feel free to grab some starter gear, tools, food, and any other necessities provided nearby—or feel free to wander off on your own vanilla-style.
Step 5: Build a starter house in the “Suburbs”
Just south of spawn, you’ll find the “Suburbs”—our collection of starter houses that all players construct. To get to the suburbs, travel through the big tunnel to the south of the spawn bowl, or follow dynmap to the orange square. Find an empty plot (or alert a staff member if none seem to be available) and build a base, park, tree, or anything else that you like.
Step 6: Explore and enjoy!
Feel free to hang out around the suburbs, spawn, or set off on your own adventure. Be sure to check out our DynMap to scout out a location that suits you, or just wander and explore to your heart’s content. Remember, our player base is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and our staff and mods are here to help you feel at home and have the best early-game experience possible. Please don’t be shy in asking for help or just saying hello!
